meic stevens ghost town




hard to find lp only release. this came out in 1997 as a limited hand numbered edition of 1000 copies on tenth planet records TP028
all tracks recorded 1968-69 and written by meic stevens.
includes three early demos. several of the english language songs would later turn up as welsh language recordings for sain and wren. there are also two welsh language tracks that were previously only available oon local small label eps

i don't have that one, but i have been thinking of buying it
as far as his stuff goes i have ghost town and outlander.

I loved that Ghost Town album , even if was recorded as a rough demo it's still a diamond for me.

Question. Have you listened to track 1 (Roedd Gennyf I Gariad ) since encoding it ? At around 58 secs to 1 min 30 it sounds as though the needle has jumped a few times. If I'm right any chance you could offer this track again ?

hi, i have listened to the track on both my lp and this rip. the record sadly does have that little jump at that point. the lp looks mint, i bought it new and it had that jump from day one. i would have sent the record back, but it was out of print immediately.

that jump is also on my copy of the Vinyl too...amazing Lp.
